In the second quarter of 2025, the travel and local apps landscape in Central America showed varied performance metrics across leading applications. Here's a detailed look based on Sensor Tower data.

Volaris 2.0 experienced a fluctuating trend in weekly downloads, starting at approximately 311K and decreasing to around 106K by the end of June. However, weekly active users maintained a more stable range, peaking at about 410K and ending the quarter at nearly 379K.

Airbnb saw a steady decline in weekly downloads from 151K at the start of April to around 77K by the end of June. Active users also displayed a dynamic pattern, beginning at 2.8M and slightly recovering to 2.7M after mid-quarter fluctuations.

Instabridge: WiFi Hotspot Map had varying weekly downloads, with a high of approximately 79K early in the quarter, tapering down to around 45K by the end of June.
